By submitting this application form, you represent that you are the data subject or a legal representative of the data subject under the PDPA. Any falsified submission of information or request in bad faith may subject to legal action from us or a third party, including but not limited to the data subject or relevant party. We reserve the right to request you to prove your identity and/or ask for supporting information before proceeding with your request. If there is any specific time limitation to process your request, such period shall begin after we receive all requested information. Bridgestone may refuse to proceed with your request in the event that we do not receive the requested information within seven business days, you are unable to verify your identify as the data owner, Bridgestone do not have such personal information in our possession, the application is repetitive, excessive or the information you request reveals details directly or indirectly about another person. In addition to the above, Bridgestone may refuse to proceed with your request if the collection, use, or disclosure of personal data is for the purpose: • relating to research or statistics, in which suitable measures to safeguard the data subject’s rights are put in place according to the PDPA; • prevention or suppressing a danger to a person’s life, body or health; • carried out for the establishment, compliance or exercise of legal claims, or defense of legal claims; or • carried out for compliance with the PDPA or other laws. If any of the exemption above applies, Bridgestone may wholly or partly refuse to comply with your request which we will inform you with an explanation why we believe we should not proceed with your request. In most circumstance, we will provide our service free of charge. However, Bridgestone may charge a reasonable fee if the request is a repetitive, manifestly unfound or excessive.
